Nicholas obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Dalhousie Law School, where he focused on intellectual property, construction, corporate commercial, and tax law. Nicholas received awards for highest overall academic achievement in construction law, ethics and professionalism courses. Alongside his academics, Nicholas volunteered as a pro bono law student for the Wills and Estates program for low income seniors.

Nicholas is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and has experience dealing with:

  • E-Fraud
  • Internet Privacy
  • Internet Harassment
  • Unauthorized Access to Computer Material
  • Information Systems Audits such as PCI Audits and GCC Audits

Prior to joining Church & Company, Nicholas worked in the United States for CBRE on the Microsoft Account, and prior to that at the Trade-Marks Opposition Board for the Canadian Federal government. Nicholas has also worked in various technology related roles such as an Enterprise Risk Services Consultant with Deloitte & Touché, and a Business Intelligence Developer with HSBC.

Nicholas is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
